Taking It to the Streets
Teaching to radicaly follow Jesus

There is an urgent call given to every beliver: the Great Commision given by Jesus to "Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15)." He told us "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Mt 28:18-20)."
One of the approaches Taking It to the Streets takes in answering this call is everyday street witnessing and diverse means of evangelism.
Jeremiah wrote "His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forebearing, and I could not stay (Jer 20:9)."
We recognize that many young people want to be able to share the love of Jesus with their peers, but are (in many cases) too unsure about how to do this, yet have that same fire shut up in thier bones, and are weary with forebearing (holding it in). Taking It to the Streets travels all of the united states, and different parts of the world setting up bases to act as a rally point for these young people through "Are You In?" conferances imparting fire and urgencey to these youth. We also travel training different groups of belivers to "hit the streets."

Jesus also said "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: by whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it (Luke 9:23-24)."
We teach that "...where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Mt 6:21)." We confess that we are "...strangers and pilgrims on the earth (Heb 11:13, 1 Pet 2:11)." and want to put forth our energy advancing Jesus' Kingdom (Mt 11:12).
Say not ye, There are yet four  months and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

The Mission:
1.) We at Taking It to the Streets have made it our top priority to preach the Gospel to the target audience of the unchurched.
2.) We do this by winning, discipling, and teaching young people how to win others to Jesus through witnessing and other Biblical principals. "And the things that that hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful me, who shall be able to teach others also (2 Tim 2:2)."
3.)We also travel, to reach out to their peers and communities with the Gospel like Jesus and His disciples did. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that beliveth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (Jn 14:12)."
